                              My Favorite Book                          

           Reading story books is one of my best loved activities. Jane Eyre, Black beauty, Matilda, The Famous Five, Les Miserables and Malory Towers are my favorites. Out of those I loved Matilda the most .The story Matilda was written by Roald Dahl in 1988,who was a British novelist. Main characters of this story are Matilda and Miss Honey. 





         Matilda Wormwood is a five years old small girl. She was kind ,gentle, intelligent and sensible. But her parents took her as a stupid chatterbox and took no interest in her at all. Her father  didn't even buy her a book when she asked for one. But she didn't give up reading books .
   

                                                                                This story book is very joyful but it is full of good ideas like reading books and helping others. I like this mostly because of the friendship between Miss Honey and Matilda. Miss Honey was just like a relation and a friend to Matilda and Matilda too was a great help to Miss Honey. That connection between them was more than a teacher and a student.

Some people, for examples Wormwoods and Miss Trunchbull thought Matilda is stupid and bad because they judged her by her age. But in the end Matilda freed the whole school from a principle who didn't deserve the job at all. So this story proves that we can't judge people from their age, looks, gender and social classes.

This story also proves that we mustn't use our power for bad things. Miss Trunchbull and Wormwoods used their power to hurt and humiliate others .They spoiled their lives because of their cruelty. But Miss Honey used her power for the good her students. and Matilda too didn't use her power to hurt people. They entered into a bright life because of the good things they've done.

This book took me into another world where I was extremely happy and I came back with my mind full of good ideas.

                                   MY PET                   It's so nice to have someone who makes you happy, who will listen to you, play with you and keep close to you   sharing your happiness and sadness. Friends can do all those things. But sometimes they leave you when you're in trouble and  make you miserable . But pets ,they never make you sad. instead they always make you happy.              I too had a pet of my own and he was a cat .he was yellow and white colored and I think he is the cutest cat  in the world .
