                 My Extracurricular Activities at School





                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                                    
                                   After my O/Ls I participated school orchestra in playing the cello. And our orchestra was played for many items. Ranga Geetha , Bodu Bathi Gee, English Day competition are some of them. I participated for all Island School Music Competition in 2017,2018 and our orchestra won the first place .

 
what we enjoyed the most of the orchestra was ,working as a team.


  
         This was my teacher. He was very talented. His lessons were always interesting. He did not follow the syllabus .Instead he taught me the best way of playing musical instruments. I only played piano at that time and he taught me both cello and guitar. I didn't even have the basic knowledge of those two musical instruments. At that time the school cello wasn't in a condition of using. but he didn't give up He mended it and taught me how to play it. 



      I participated the school western band before O/Ls and I also played badminton and table tennis .

                                My Favorite Book                                        Reading story  books is one of my best loved activities. Jane Eyre, Black beauty, Matilda, The Famous Five, Les Miserables and  Malory Towers are   my favorites. Out of those I loved Matilda the most .The story Matilda was written by Roald Dahl in 1988,who was a British novelist. Main characters of this story are Matilda and Miss Honey.            Matilda Wormwood is a five years old small girl. She was kind ,gentle, intelligent and sensible.                                    MY PET                   It's so nice to have someone who makes you happy, who will listen to you, play with you and keep close to you   sharing your happiness and sadness. Friends can do all those things. But sometimes they leave you when you're in trouble and  make you miserable . But pets ,they never make you sad. instead they always make you happy.              I too had a pet of my own and he was a cat .he was yellow and white colored and I think he is the cutest cat  in the world .
